Are they any good or are they standard Behringer tat?

I've never tried one but I've read a lot about them. The general opinion seems to be that they sound better than Boss, but the switch stops working often (perhaps a fault with a specific batch?) and tracking, especially with passive basses is poor, so sometimes sticking a booster or compressor before it is necessary.

Love it, sounds brilliant! If you compress the bejebus out of your signal first it seems to play happier.

The build quality's not great, fairly weedy plastic, but mine's lasted a good old while so far. And for that cheap you don't have to worry.

Agreed, really shoddy plastic, but I used to run mine in a looper, which meant that I never touched it. To my ears it did sound better than the Boss one.

I watched a video of someone trying to break one, He hit it off the top of a mic stand a few times & threw it about & then jumped on it & it was still solid. Pretty well built for a bit of cheap chinese plastic!
