Kev
well i took delivery of it today, and its brilliant took a little while for me to get used to it and understand how it works, but now i have its great. with the stabiliser on (not sure why ud have it off really), the octave down is the most guitar like iv ever heard, really really nice regardless of how fast you play (but obviously only 1 note at a time). in all fairness iv never owned an analog octaver to compare to, but this is great, far better than all digital ones iv tried (gt6b, bass synth wah, whammy I, II and IV). seems to track well low as well, and when it starts to wobble on the e string and b string, it just kinda blends in and isnt obvious at all that it cant handle it, which is brilliant. iv tried it in front of my jacques trinity, and its the funkiest sound iv ever had, soo cool. it makes my odb-3 sound brilliant as well. the octave down only switch isnt that useful for bass, but its still a cool feature if you just want the octave down on its own, shows how good at trackin it is too. nice feature of it is the ringer circuit, which adds a octave up ring modulator, which is really unique, and makes the pedal sound synthy and cool and similarly works well with distortion and filter. only problem iv found is that theres a volume drop when you engange the pedal (with the ringer off). doesnt bother me though as iv got it in a loop with the lell eq now, so i run that flat and boost volume, until i actually can be arsed buying a boost pedal! oh, and it needs a mains transformer to work, the one iv got is pretty big and heavy! but minor problems really not sure whether i can justify the £££'s to keep it, but we'll see quick sound sample, scruffy playin (didnt use a voume booster, so ul notice the volume dropped when engaged clean): http://media.putfile.com/Mutron-Octave-divider using my hudson active 6 string, messin with the ringer switch and the bass only switch, with some distortion and filter Edited April 8, 2008 by BassManKev

BassBalls
Nice! how do you power it? Is it as awkward as the mutron to power?
Kev
almost it has an internal power supply , which runs at US voltage, so you need a transformer to use it luckily the seller gave me a maplins one free of charge it weighs 4 kgs! does the job though
