Someone asked me if I regretted switching from playing uke to playing double bass - they'd just watched me huffing and puffing, heaving Bertha the Cool into our little class room. And no, I don't. I have never gigged so much, enjoyed playing so much or had so many compliments & attention in the 22 years I've been playing bass guitar. Psst! Wayne! - you don't have to be good.....
