I've moved my DB from upstairs to the dining room to play it more and I must say I am loving it, taking time out from doing my tax return to play a couple of Motown tunes, so much fun.

To get good is my target this year.

That's my aim too, little by little. Someone asked me if I regretted switching from playing uke to playing double bass - they'd just watched me huffing and puffing, heaving Bertha the Cool into our little class room. And no, I don't. I might curse and swear but l haven't had any regrets. Well, I might have to sell the MX-5 but that would be a future regret. If ...

I can honestly say that buying an EUB on a whim 4 years ago was the best musical decision I ever made. I have never gigged so much, enjoyed playing so much or had so many compliments & attention in the 22 years I've been playing bass guitar.
