Happy Jack
For someone who is not a luthier and who thinks electricity drips out of wall sockets, I seem to have accumulated a fair amount of ... erm ... stuff. Time to move it on. I have absolutely no idea how much any of this stuff is worth, so I'm just throwing it open to offers. Please do NOT post those offers on this topic - no auctions, remember? Just PM me with your offer, I might say yes, I might say no. If you send me an offer, please state whether or not you've included P&P. All bits can be collected in person in either London WC1 or London W4. All proceeds will go to Basschat funds. EDIT: Both control panels sold. Happy Jack
Scratchplates: The one with a single pickup cutout is from a custom single-pickup rockabilly violin bass I had for a while. No idea where the other one came from.
Happy Jack
Tuners / machine heads: Genuinely unsure about these. They may well be original, from the 60's, but then again maybe not.

Happy Jack
Sundry components: Original 1962 neckplate, with original screws. Late 60's / early 70's neckplate. 1960's string-holder for a solid body bass. Looks like a DIY bridge for a 4-string bass. Very DIY in fact. Happy Jack
Bit of a grab-bag: Stuff found in an old box under my worktop! Tea-cup knobs, one original (guess which one!), three replicas. One replica is in a baggie to keep it with the grub-screw which has fallen out. No idea what these are, but I've clearly made an effort to hang on to them, so who knows. Replacement tuners which someone has fitted to a vintage Hofner, coming spare as a result of restoration. Of no real interest to a Hofner enthusiast, but probably genuinely vintage in their own right! Water-slide decals for the headstock or upper bout, complete with instructions.
