Stompbox
Here is my top Aria FA-70 full depth hollowbody archtop, based on the superb Gibson L5/L7 guitars - it is one of the Aria “Pro 2” series. It's in great condition with no bad dings or knocks. They originally sold for just under £500 - I'm looking for £245. It was made by the Samick factory in Korea in 2001 (they make instruments for Gretsch, Epiphone, & Aria as well as their own brand). It's a fully hollow bodied, full depth guitar with a spruce top, maple back & sides and a floating rosewood bridge. It has good quality gold tailpiece & gold Gotoh machine heads, vintage cream binding on the front & rear of the body, headstock, neck & "F" holes. This is a link to Aria – the current model the FA-71, (which is only a single pickup model) but construction details are, I believe, the same. http://www.ariausa.c...itars/fa71.html The previous owner had the (usually lower quality) Korean humbuckers replaced with""vintage friendly" P90s which he said were from GFS. He advised that the job was done professionally in Denmark St, London and uses custom pickup surrounds. The guitar sounds really great, but I really need to free up some cash, so it has to go. I’ll pack it carefully in a cardboard guitar box from the local music shop & send by 48 hour courier for £12, unless you want to come over to Morecambe to try it & buy it. (Transit insurance would be extra). I could deliver within a reasonable distance by arrangement, and I do go over to Oldham & Manchester every couple of weeks.
