70s Silverface in moderate condition with a bit of attention needed usually realise 500-600 quid.

Cheers for that. It's exactly a 1970 model with silverface :o)

Bump - No demand for these at all, very unpopular, not musical sounding at all and just not loud enough, however I could be persuaded to give it a home other than wife would kill me. Will be an excellent g**** amp for someone.

I play with 3 guitarists who play vintage Fender Twin Reverbs and know several more who use one.

I'd get it serviced for £50 which would add another £100 at least.

I'll check out the caps.... it's sounds like a valve on the way out..... sound breaks up pretty badly when guitar is played through it.

Is there anyway of telling which valve it is likely to be? Sorry I'm not really up to speed on valve technology

blimey looks like there is 12 valves in this thing.... might be expensive... :o0

If it's a 1970 than it will be worth slightly more than the later ones (like mine) with the pull out master volume. See if the master volume pot pulls out. I bought a 1975 one recently and the previous owner had had it for over ten years without realising it pulled out for drive.
