Made in Japan in 1987 in the Fuji-gen Plant. Although this looks quiet similar to a normal Jazz Special it isnt.[/font][/size] [left][size=3][font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]It has a 22 Fret Tri-Lam Jazz neck alder neck with rosewood board[color=#000000], carbon graphite nut. Reverse P-bass and J bass pick-ups, ATE active circuit, TBX tone control, high mass bridge. From what I have read the neck has a layer of graphite between the fret board and neck. For a 25 year old bass it is in excellent condition. I have owned this bass for around 7 years now. It is a fantastic sounding and playing bass. You do not see this come up for sale very often. It is all original and comes with a hard case. Dood Posted February 7, 2012 Share Posted February 7, 2012 Cocco, I can't confirm this, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that the neck was modelled on a '62 Jazz profile. I've not ever played a '62 Jazz so I can't add anything to that - but it's slim, fast and feels great! The ATE control is brilliant and at the quick twist of the control near the bridge you can go from scoopy slap to parpy Jaco mids. So cant really comment on it other than [/size][/font]it looks like the plus has lace pick-ups the kubicki and is more traditional Jazz shaped[font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif].
