lxxwj Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 (edited) Attatched is a pic of Mike Stroud's pedalboard, or at least part of it. He's the guitarist of Ratatat. Not exactly bass, but I thought you guys might be interested. Looks like a crybaby wah, Moog ring mod, volume pedal, and a RAT 2. He has a pitch bend effect somewhere (one octave up, sounds like), I think that might be controlled by that volume pedal. Edited January 31, 2012 by lxxwj Quote
simwells Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 (edited) Here's a better shot showing some more for you. Pitch bend would be the whammy at the end I assume! Edited January 31, 2012 by simwells Quote
lxxwj Posted January 31, 2012 Author Posted January 31, 2012 (edited) Whoa! NICE! Where'd you get that? Lesse, looks like a Univox Super Fuzz, some sort of Zvex pedal, and a Whammy IV. Nice pic! Might be a vexter fuzz factory. ..still not sure how he gets that awesome solo for "Loud Pipes." Sounds like a ton of distortion and feedback.. possibly ring modulator? those things can make all sorts of sounds. Edited January 31, 2012 by lxxwj Quote
simwells Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 It's been sat on my computer for a while now, can't actually remember where it was from originally other than searching around for what he uses a while back. Quote
xgsjx Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Brilliant band & I'd almost forgot about them! Saw them supporting Bjork in Vegas 4 years ago. That was an excellent gig all round! Quote
