Hi I need to sell this within 2 days for some emergency cash. Nothing too serious, Im not paying off kidnappers or anything but a few quid would come in handy right now. Anyway if it doesnt sell Ill be talking it down again as its the best bass Ive ever owned, seriously.
35" scale and feels great to play, really fast and easy. Blah blah blah its really good etc...
Heres the facts:
Its going for £1300
PM or email me [email protected]

Kinal 5 string bass, MK-5 (M72)
Gorgeous Mike Kinal (Canada) bass for sale. It's a five string with a beautiful quilt maple top in an amber stain. Matching head stock (quilt/amber) with a very nice birds-eye maple cap to the rear. Alder body with a lovely quilt-maple top. Ebony fingerboard on maple + five-piece neck with graphite reinforcement. 2 Aero jazz pickups with Bartolini preamp, 3EQ and 3-way midrange selector switch. The scale length is 35" (for a better 'B'), with a 1 and 11/16" nut. String spacing is 9mm at the nut and 17mm at the bridge. Weight is 8 & 3/4 lbs.
Great condition - the only significant 'ding' (which has no effect on playing, and is hard to see) is a small (0.5cm) one to the side (only) of the ebony board, between frets 1 and 2 (below the G-string). This is one of the best constructed, 'all-purpose' basses I've ever played. Slaps well, is punchy for rock and can also produce more mellow tones
Here's a link and some words from the Kinal website, from which this (uograde) bass can be compared to the standard Kinal MK-5
Kinal custom basses have graphite-reinforced necks, attached with six bolts for extra strength and better sustain. The fretted and fretless fingerboards are made from rosewood, ebony, maple, or pau ferro.
Pickups come from Lindy Fralin, Bartolini, EMG, Basslines, and other makers, with 9- or 18-volt active electronics available.
Scale length can be 34", 34.5", or 35". The necks and bodies are ergonomically sculptured to allow comfortable access to the extended scale. These instruments also balance extremely well and are lightweight for long playing periods.

Fabulous fabulous bass. The best bass I've ever owned too. I miss it bitterly. It was me that collected the autographs on the inside of the control plate. I'd LOVE it back, but I don't have that kind of cash.

Hey Sharkey! Get that incoming banjo round to my gaff next time you're home - always fancied a rip on one (assuming it's the aforementioned Spector). You can have a go on my Dingwall while you're at it... get your mind out of the gutter!
