Don't be fooled by this. These come up on ebay from time to time. It is not THE Status in Colchester. Some cheap jazz copy and the prices they go for reflect that.

Thanks for that guys, thought the tuners and truss rod cover looked very generic Japanese 70's ish.
Nice looking board and neck though.

I had one of these as my first bass in the 70's. Not bad as a starter bass. Streets ahead of the Sattelites amd Kays that were around then. The last one I saw for sale was up for £200.
