ben604
Played a wedding last night in Peckforton Castle (looks like the Disney castle!) and there was a DJ playing too. I walked in to see a couple of 12" Polycarb cabs about 12 foot up on poles, no sub, with FBT on the front. I thought, he's not going to have enough power there, I'll ask if he wants to run through our Mackie PA. Then he did a line check... My word, I've never heard anything like it out of such small cabs. They were incredible. Easily kept up and surpassed our 2x15" tops +15" Sub. Gots me to thinkin'... Anyone else had any experience with FBT cabs? How would the RCF Art 5/7 series compare? We're going to sell our PA and invest some serious cash after their performance last night.
crez5150
If you are running a Mackie set-up consisting of 2 x 15" tops on subs and that doesn't compete with a pair of FBT 12" cabs then something is seriously wrong. Or there was more PA kit running that you couldn't see......
warwickhunt
Our RCF rig (pair 522 tops, one 705 sub) is fantastic and I've not had a bad report on our sound but then I'm sure there are loads of comparable systems.
