I looked back at some of the other Shuker build threads, and I can probably echo some of their sentiments - it's a lot of hard work, more than I think you realise, as you are - literally - doing it by hand. You really do need a fetish for sanding, but it all comes so good in the end.

I'd love to do it again, or even attempt some of it for myself.

My course with Jon is all booked! Me and a mate are up there in September building our basses (or doorstops if it all goes wrong)! I'll have the camera charged and I'll get a build diary up when I get back... might even post pics each night as it comes along if we can stay out the pub long enough, which will be hard as we are staying in a pub for the week!!
