Had my eyes on an Ashdown Klystron, so probably putting up my Terror. Been away with work not had the chance.
Anyway, keeping an eye on the Klystron in amps for sale, noticed there seems to be quite a few Mark Bass amps up for sale, at reasonable prices.

Anybody any idea why?

Cheers.
Karl.

Been tempted to get one of those MB heads (likes of a LM Tube) & replace the LMII in my combo.
Same reason as many are selling their MB stuff, nowt wrong with what I have, just curious.

Nothing wrong with Markbass , it's just that I had 4 amp heads , 3 cabs , 1 combo at the peak of my gear accumulating years .
I am only selling the 604 Stack in an attempt to raise some money.
Great sounding lightweight gear , just very popular at the moment.

I've had my Markbass 121P amp and cab set-up for about 2 1/2 years now - great sound, and loads of power.

Biggest plus is the weight - coming from a former Trace Elliot owner.....it was a complete revelation!

Agreed, as an ex Trace owner i used to dream of the day when i could sling an amp over my shoulder and stroll off to the gig, for 2+ years now i've been doing that with my LMK, it's a great amp. Though all i seem to be reading on here these days is something about Genz ? <_<

Are Genz the new Mark ?
