ShergoldSnickers Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 (edited) I've dug out three garageband ditties that I'd done way back in... well I thought it was 2008, but it was 2007. 1. Echo - done with guitarist Pete Cox. 2. Float - again, with me mate Pete Cox on guitar 3. Ilkley Moor Bart'ok - an attempt at trying to sound like a 20th century 'classical' piece for piano, strings and percussion. Dodgy link corrected on 'Echo'. Edited February 7, 2012 by ShergoldSnickers Quote
discreet Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Like the first two. Puts me in mind of Fripp/Eno/Crimson... nice chilled vibe. The third one is a bit too 'modern classical' for my liking, but then I'm not a fan of avant garde stuff generally... unless it's CAN, of course... ...like the piano on it, though. Good clear production on all three. Good work. Quote

I'm sure comparisons with Fripp/Eno/Crimson don't stand any real scrutiny, but if there is that sort of vibe I'll accept it and cling on for dear life - no problem . Thanks Mark. Quote
