karlfer
Kasuga BOLT NECK Rick copy went for £520. I bid up to £450, which I thought was ridiculous. My original neck through that I bought in '78 (it got nicked) was £110, on a years tick (ask yer grandpappy). Some things are perhaps recession proof. http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p4340.l2565&rt=nc&item=330680516684
Happy Jack
Ah well now, what you've got to remember is that them 1960's Kasuga Tokai's aren't just vintage, y'know. Oh no no no, dearie dearie me, they're rare too. Plus of course there will always be people with WAY more money than sense ...
lettsguitars
A piece of nostalgia for someone no doubt. I would love to get hold of my first guitar again and would pay a premium for the pleasure. black aria pro ii inazuma, single humbucker and red lightning, if anyone has one. LukeFRC
I don't get ricks at all... never something i've been into, but if I was I would either want a real one, or an amazing copy, or a really cheap one. This is neither, and for the price of two of these you could track down a real on!
Mr. Foxen
The Rickenwaffen thing has given the Rick copy an air of mystery and exclusivity that real Ricks don't have, they jsut ahve an air of expensive, because there is no shortage of them. Now they seem to have eased up, it is the right time to sell before everyone twigs there are still loads of them about.

the boy
It's worth what someone will pay for it and the buyers obviously not alone cos someone had to chase him all the way up to £520. I think it's nostalgia buying and Japan gear has so much cred these days it's ridiculous.
karlfer
I chased him to £450, convinced it was shill bidding. Obviously wrong.
