Has anyone played this song? Our new lead singer wants to do it, but I believe John Deacon drops the E string down to D.
I was wondering if anyone else does this. Does it really matter?

I used to play it in the covers band. Great song if the singer ca hack it!

I never tuned to drop D, but i guess it could make for an interesting alternative

Cracking song to play. We heavy it up a bit with the guitars but bass line remains the same.

We downtune half a setp for most of our own songs and down even further for FBG sounds fabulous.

Used to do it. Never had time to detune..works ok without but definitely do it if you can. Detuning gives a BIg sound!.
