Carld
Hi All, I have a very slight low volume distortion on my Redhead. Ive checked the bass and its not that. A lot of forums are saying its not the valve although I haven't changed it yet. Any ideas? Many thanks. Carl
Mog
Never had the problem with mine TBH. Is it an actual distortion or rapid intermittent signal loss? Run through your set up to exclude bass, leads and pedals. If its still there and the signal chain is sound try switching between the passive/active inputs and keep an eye on the clip indicators. If that doesn't work then vary the gain and turbo control as they are very sensitive. If the problem is still there it could be a fault with the speaker on/off switch. You could also try plugging into the fx return to check if the speakers are in good order. If you do this start with the fx blend at minimum and dial in the signal slowly. Heres the manual if you need it. Also make sure they are working by intentionally driving each into clipping buy only do this with the speaker feed off).
