up-b Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 no conversion. if you compare this bass with any other fretless bass now the dots are slighty different. It's an original one and rare instrument. Good tone, good feel. But i like my 4 string jazz bass (fretted) more
evilLordJuju Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Yeah, Gibson were a bit slow on this, and early fretless basses did indeed have the side dots in the wrong place. Nothing a marker pen and some tipex can't (reversibly) fix
