Here are the specs in the words of Wood & Tronics. Alder body with hollow chambers Horse chestnut heel block (rare and special for tone) + Padouk veneer Tanzanian blackwood solid - across top with special arrangement one off Zebra wood/Maple/Purpleheart/ interruption layers Satinwood fingerboard 3 piece Maple/Ash/Maple neck Norstrand dual coils East/ W&T circuit Satinwood is an amazing essence with a tonal organicity, somewhere in between Ebony and Rosewood, combining Ebony's deep lows and present treble with Rosewood's typical midrange presence. It is in fact almost as hard as Ebony and it's unique for its light colour. Horse chestnut is a great tone wood, used as a heel block. It imparts great transparency and lets all tonal nuances exploit. Wood & Tronics saved their last pieces of blackwood and horse chestnut to make this special piece. Condition is excellent and the bass has recently been professionally set up and fret dressed. After consulting Mark at Bass Direct, I am asking for [s]£2,000 [/s] £1850.00 or near offer including the Wood and Tronics gig bag. Regarding trades, if anyone has an Aguilar DB 750 to part ex I may be interested. The Zoid weighs just under 9lbs on bathroom scales and is 34" scale. The string spacing is 19mm and it's strung B to G. Now with price reduction to £1950 Edited February 29, 2012 by wayne58
