Billy Apple Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) [u][b]Rotosound '77' Long Scale Flat-Wound Strings[/b][/u] Standard Guage- 45 65 85 105 Monel (Nickel) I bought these yesterday (08/02/12) from Sounds Live in Newcastle to satisfy my curiosity for flat-wound strings. Put them on my TBird this afternoon, after 30 mins I knew they were not for me, so off they came. Some light trimming on the E, A and D. Had a good 4 turns round each capstan. Billy Apple Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 back up. I trimmed these when I put them on my T Bird, I've put them onto my P just to see if they fit, they do, but there's not much spare. Would really suit a TBird owner, or a bass with a 2 over 2 head.
