discreet Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) This is also in the Soundcloud Topic, but hasn't had many plays... either it's a bit out of the way in there, or people have listened to it and are too polite to tell me it's sh*te! So have a listen. Go on - don't be polite, tell me it's sh*te! I don't care... that much! Dad3353 Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Perhaps it's a generation thing..? I didn't think much of 'Popcorn', either, but the world thought otherwise, apparently. I know you won't, but I'll politely decline your request for doing the drums 'live'. No, it's not what you suggested, perhaps, but it certainly isn't my 'cup of tea'. Sorry, but I'm old; next... (...although my thoughts go out to you, spending all that time with a headset going over it for so long. What did you say..? Only 20 minutes..? Still too long...) Just my fuddy tuppence worth, of course, and you did ask..! Respect. Quote

lowdown Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) I like it. This sort of stuff is good library music material, and most importantly can earn you money... I am old as well... Garry Edited February 10, 2012 by lowdown Quote
ShergoldSnickers Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Great range of sounds and textures. Good rollicking composition there, and I especially like the way it develops in the last quarter. Emphatically not sh*te. Quote
discreet Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Thanks for the feedback guys... and thanks Garry, I had not considered the possibility of library music... Quote
Rumple Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I'm partial to the odd vocal sample (be it sung or spoken) in tracks like this but others would probably disagree - regardless it's a good dance tune well put together. Quote
Thanks! I wasn't able to use it as part of my House project as it doesn't easily fit into the strict genre and sub-genre structures of Electronic Dance Music, so I thought I'd bung it on here. I do have one or two EDM tracks with vocal FX on though, I'll dig 'em out. Edited February 10, 2012 by discreet Quote
