Jon Perrett Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 New here. Known as Jonthebass (Aren't all jon bass players?) I have owned my WAL pro 1 for over 20 years now. I have a MM stingray all maple, active and it growls. I've had that for 19 years. I also have my old trusted Aria RSB II Dx .I have had that for 22 years. Can it be that long????? I have never sold a bass and never will. I have all the basses I need. I wont play any more than 4 strings as I feel it is a cop out.. Merry Sounds Jon Quote
Stacker Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) Welcome, John! My other half is from Melbourne. HAven't been over for a while but I used to like going down Prahran and rooting about in those 2nd-hand shops for guitar goodies. BTW, if you ever hear of or see a vintage Maton Wedgtail for sale, PM me right away!!! That said, they're rare as hen's teeth and probably go for a bomb, now. And I'm also a fully paid-up member of the '4-string Bass Nation', as Jaco referred to it! Orrabest! Edited February 10, 2012 by Stacker Quote
