Pow_22
Ive been loaned this amp short-term while i try and sort my rig out. I know its output is 200w but i dont know if this is at 4 or 8 ohms. As my current cab is a 4ohm one am i getting the most out of this amp or should i be running it with an 8ohm one to get the full 200w? voxpop
Running a 4ohm cab will give you the full output of 200 watts.

Pow_22
Definately! The amps a wierd one that i cant find any info on. Its not an AH one, it just says GP12 Series 6 on it. Seems loud enough but could it be just a pre-amp?
voxpop
If it was a preamp you could not plug speakers into it. I use the ah200 and it sounds loud enough for most situations. The old trace series 6 amps the very best they made. Great build quality and sound..... Remember these are around 15 - 20 years old and still going strong. You can't say that for most of today's poorly built kit. I love mine.
