There are screws missing from the neck plate and machine heads and he put strings on it to test it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And since he bought it like that at what point was it confirmed it was a puka 74 fender.

I wonder how he arrived at 1974 as the age of the bass? Zooming in on the headstock shows that the serial begins with a bold '76'.

My god that was the worst one I've seen on here. Imagine how awful it must have felt. Who would do that to a guitar. There should be a society for protection of endangered guitars. Guys like him should be put on an offenders register, never allowed to own a guitar again. That's abuse.

the screws are missing from the finger board? I've never had screws on my finger board - maybe that's what keeps holding me back.
