Prime_BASS
is it possible, not seen or heard of anyone trying it but I see a few headless bridge and head kits. If so what would it entail?
mart
Can be done, and has been done. I remember somebody converting a Thumb into a headless bass (to improve the balance), but I can't find a proper link, only this thread on talkbass: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f57/beheading-project-turn-standard-bass-into-headless-one-602828/
TheGreek
Hi Stephen Most headless systems require a zero fret which may prove a problem if you're starting with a fretted neck..a fretless could be a better starting point and could be fretted if required.. Try contacting Mark Wood (who's in Nottingham) who built my headless custom (B1222C): "] http://www.mwood-gui...om/apps/photos/ Edited February 12, 2012 by TheGreek
