Bryan Beller Bass clinic - Anyone interested?

Hi

Bryan Bellers band with Guthrie Govan and Marco Minnemann 'The Aristocrats' are coming to the UK in March for a 5 date tour. I've been involved in helping organize the whole thing and now there is a possibility that Bryan will do a clinic before their gig in The Robin 2 (Bilston, Wolverhampton) on Thursday 8th March at around 5 or 6 pm. Basically I just want to gauge whether there is any interest as Bryan doesn't get to much of a mention round here. Tickets would be £15 and then it would be free entry into the gig.

Oooo now if only I was on your side of the water. Bryan is a serious player, a great educator and, by all accounts, a nice guy so I'd totally be at this if that pesky Irish Sea wasn't in the way. Good luck with it and enjoy.

Oh - one more cool thing with Bryan - for his last solo album he also released a book of transcription of all his parts, transcribed by himself. On his website there's one or two free to download for your perusal.

Id be interested in this,Robin 2 is just up the road and i have'nt been to a proper bass clinic since alain caron did one many years ago at the old Bham bass center!

They used to have many many bass clinics there i got to see and meet alain,gary willis,stu hamm,doug wimbish....

defo be interested in both the gig and clinic,thank's for the headsup and your efforts to arrange this

Well it was initially something we wanted to do being from Cardiff and all but they only had 5 dates where they were all available to be in the UK. At the time The Globe had just been taken over and they weren't very helpful at all in trying to put something together so that was the end of that.

Also to any one interested before the Newcastle gig at The Cluny on Sat March 10th Guthrie Govan will also hold a master class. This is limited to just 20 places.
