You'd need an amp that goes to 2 Ohms to run two of the 212 Cabs ;)

Although...doesn't it only throw out 1000W if it's completely dimed though? so if you generally only use it on 50% for example that's more like 500W?

I know there's a prototype out there (ead or eude I get them mixed up for some reason :blush: ) and that at least one other is in use but I'm not sure...ask Mr Perry...he's good at answering emails promptly

I'm afraid not, the material costs for the 112 were not much less than the 212, basically the cost of a single 12" driver.
The cabs are amazing, but market forces would work against a very expensive 112 cab.
If Dave was able to make these in much larger batches and out source the labour somewhere cheaper, like a lot of cab manufacturers do, then the price could come down, but with them being handmade to the highest possible standard, the the market as is just ain't a good fit.
Such a shame, as Dave's work on these cabs is second to none!

I do indeed have one of the 2 112 cabs.
