Prime_BASS
It's fair to say nottingham isn't the most musically inclined place but one thing guitar shops, even the one boutique esque one in the centre seem to fail upon providing (among other thing like decent straps) is 9v's! I always keep a stock of 4 or 5, as I use active basses and don't own a power supply for my polytune. Anyway, the cheapest I've seen is just over £2 at Makro excluding VAT. The valveshop 2 minutes drive from my work sell box of 10 for £15. Duracell's at that. That's £1.50 a battery, and 10 will last forever. pantherairsoft
I always get mine form the same eBay store - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Babz-Media/DURACELL-PROCELL-BATTERIES-/ £7.49 for 10 Duracell Procells. More you buy cheaper they are as well. I've been using them for all batteries for about 18 months now. Generally arrive within 2 days, often next day and usually free delivery too! I found them searching 'Procell' on eBay and never really looked into what else they sell. Interesting!

leftybassman392
+1 to the eBay link. I used to use a different company (or maybe it was the same guy trading under a different name). I've never been able to look at battery prices in shops quite the same way since.
