I'm getting fed up with those metal n foam things in the house and quite fancy some of the geetars and basses sitting on some nice wooden racks. Can't seem to find anyone of the net who does them, other than a site that's aimed at the classical muso. But I'm sure ive' seen such for guitarists in the past, maybe in the back of Q or somesuch. Anyone??

There was one referenced from the Music Radar forum some time ago. Might take a while to find it.

Edit:
Eureka.

Thanx for those. Seen the first one, earlier. They're almost the right idea but I hate those bookends! As for the plans, I hate DIY of any kind so that's out the game.

Maybe take the plans to someone who can build them into what you want then? The basic form is there, how much different can it be to do the same thing, the 'bookends could be whatever you want!

That guitar storage one is pretty damn beautiful and would look ace in function room (or where you practice on your bass) or a studio. Bookmarked

Shame they look a bit TOO simplistic for thier price :-/

Did you take a look at the Quiklok stands? Much better than the ones wrapped in foam. Come with a set of casters, although this one is just sat directly on the floor.

Too much like what I have. Just fancied something a bit more easy on the eye.

There were some nice ones (= a litlle pricey) in BGM last month. I'll try to remember to look when I get home tonight for you.
