Airedale9
This is an original 1981-ish G&L L2000 bass, a little bit roadworn and with a few nicks in the lacquer. It still plays superbly, with an absolutely awesome sound. I would love to keep it but it has to go to make room for a Fender Jazz which fits much better with the sound of the Big band that I play with. The G&L is black, with rosewood fret. Recently restrung and strap lock buttons fitted. There is a hard case with it (non-original). The serial number is B006262. I'm looking for offers around £600 and it will be collection only - from a south Lincolnshire address Pictures attached - can provide more detail if anyone is interested. Jakester
Noooo, don't do it! Get the single coil mod done on the outside coils of the pickups instead! Lovely bass, and if I hadn't just bought another...
Ou7shined
Never. These old Series E's are like hen's teeth over here - do not mod it in any way, shape or form. This bass will be worth something in years to come.
