Bass_man219
Has anyone tried this one? If so, how hard is it to learn?
paul_5
Doesn't sound too bad - get a bit of Bach under your fingers and you're sorted. Actually, even without the Bach this ain't that difficult. Great music though.
chrismuzz
Most of it is fairly straight forward technically if you can remember all of it There are a few fast repeating patterns that are really tricky for me personally though! There's a guy on youtube who plays it an amazing cover of it, if it helps to see it actually played! If not it's still a joy to watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieRikR39FJA
dudewheresmybass
It's not that hard altogether. I teach it as a party piece post grade 6. The hardest part is tracking down an old Morley wah to make it sound 'right' through an amp ( although it sounds great clean too!)
LiamPodmore
I started learning it after playing for about 6 months. Its a good song to play, although can be tricky in parts (Or atleast it seemed it then). Liam
MarkG3
I used to play this a fair bit and is nice to play, my only problem was remembering it all as I would be ok until roughly just after the drums come in.
Gareth Hughes
It's not that tough and it's a great piece to get your fingers stretched. Haven't played it in years - mmmmm, nostalgia.........
bengreen49
That guy has done a great cover. Amazing.
Muzz
Yeah, it was pretty much a staple back in the day. Listening to it again in the cold light of a YouTube vid (and the guy does a great job of recreating it), it's surprisingly rubbish.
bartelby
I used to play this a fair bit and is nice to play, my only problem was remembering it all as I would be ok until roughly just after the drums come in.
Same here. I still play the part before the drums to check out Wahs and distortion pedals...
