apa
Ahhhh my first true love Every album, every single, every 12" all the rare stuff. Posters on the all, fan club member, birthday cards between the two of us (well the fan club secretary anyway). Sent her a beetle once because I thought she might like it and got a thank you card The early pre 'Its a mystery' stuff is pretty good if you like that sort of thing and the live album Toyah! Toyah! Toyah! is exellent. Its not the Toyah you probably know. Stuff like Ieya, Victims of the riddle, Blue Meanings, Danced. All good stuff. A EDIT: I still would Edited February 17, 2012 by apa
Jacqueslemac
I remember being conned into going to a gig to see Toyah. I forked out a whole 50p and it turned out to be one of the first gigs where she refused to get her kit off towards the end! That was 50p I could have spent differently. Oh, the music was good, though. Much crowd participation of the "get 'em off" variety was met with the riposte "I'm going serious now" or some such. Ah, the heady days of punk. Anyway, enjoy the tour.

xilddx
I remember reading an interview with Robert Fripp where he said he said he had a deep sexual frisson seeing his wife get shagged on stage in the play she was in. Roger, have a great tour mate!
