Ampeg SVT 4 Pro

Hi

I'm selling my Ampeg SVT4 head. This amp has served me impeccably over the years. It is a true monster!

I will be very sad to see this go but I have given up playing and touring to pursue my sound engineering career.

The head comes with a spare set of 3 Tung - Sol 12AX7 preamp valves worth £50

It has some minor cosmetic wear but has been flight cased it's whole life, however the pot that controls the crossover frequency if run in bi-amp mode has snapped off. This will not affect performance if it is run with a single cab eg an 8 x 10. The pot does however still function and probably could be fixed easily.

This particular head was made in the [u]USA[/u]. Not in Vietnam like later models.

The later ones are made in namm? All the war and all America come up with is a few movies and a cheap place to outsource manufacture. Well that was a waste of half a million lives.
