For my part if has J pups I'd probably vote for a Jazz bass of some description as to me the feel/profile of the neck is a personal thing. There are some interesting Frankenbasses around though! The Burpster Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 My issue with Fenders is not the design, its the QC - you could get a dog of a custom shop or a peach of a squire.
