keep hold as the price is now creeping up some places over £200..

I nearly did! To a Who fan I know - it is an excellent read, and after seeing him in a few i'views I really like that during his entire life he enthused about the sound he was making. Whether you like how he preferred to sound is another thing - but I'd be happy if I had half of his ability.

Ha!! I got it when it came out for £30!! Result!! The only downside is it's pre-Status so it only goes up to the modulus buzzard era. It is interesting that some of the basses he owned were just stupidly good, yet he never played them live. One of the lines I found incredibly funny was him describing a Wal of some description "I could never figure out the controls so I just left it alone" or something like that. Priceless.

Really? Jesus! A mate of mine gave me a pristine copy of this book about two weeks ago free, gratis and for nuffink! :o

I got three of the in HMV for £7 each and flogged two of them for £30. Amazon doing it for £125.
