Plays well and is in excellent condition from what i could make out, however even with SH prices is this about right, bearing in mind its in a retail outlet?

My other choice is this, list price £2189, offered for £1699.

I havent tried this out yet, but appears to be a better buy, obviously id rather not buy without trying so a trip to bass merchant maybe in order.

just thinking that £1700 should get you almost any secondhand warwick you want, in your shoes I would be looking for early 90's 80's nt models.
at the price I found I could buy my 1991 streamer 5 times for that price and still have change....
But then the $$ doesn't float my boat.

Had a custom shop one of these. Couldnt wait to get rid of it. Horrid thick flat neck. Uncontrollable pickups and always felt i needed a left arm 6 inches longer than my right. Body on these tends to walk to the left. Sold it for 1250 and glad to be shot. I think this one is overpriced especially for a cricket bat.

Thanks rednose thats exactly the answer i was hoping, i thought it was over priced too, thats why i'm currently considering something else now.

Got to say that both my '97s (Streamer LX6 and Fortress MM5) are better players than my '02 Infinity SN4. I only tolerate the neck shape (did someone say "Baseball Bat"?) because it sounds superb.
