Guy finds 62/63 Shell Pink Jazz Bass..it's all going off on Talkbass

I can only assume that he did shop some stickers onto the bass, and Talkbass did for him in their usual fashion.

It's a curious thing that so many 'experts' can appear and how many lawyers are suddenly attracted to the [TB] forum when someone luckily lands a nice old piece.

75% of the content that thread smacks of jealousy and envy, to me.

How insecure some of those sad b*****ds must be to feel the need to chime in with such desperate rubbish.

Lol, I appreciate the support.

And I'm still here guys just been, trying to learn to play the thing instead of just looking at it.
I never did get any major updates from the daughter outside of what I've already shared. her dad is not in the best of health and I feel kinda bad asking things currently.
Her and I are still in contact and I'm hoping at some point I'll get the chance to meet the guy, but if she feels that would be hard on him in any way that just won't be possible.
Regardless, I've since bought two more basses for day to day practice, Not that it changes anything because I still play the pink Jazz most.

I got a Squier Standard Series Jazz Bass in Antique Burst, and also a Squier Classic Vibe P Bass in Sonic Blue. The Standard is okay and the Classic Vibe is incredible and surprisingly well crafted. Plays like a dream.

I'm debating on getting myself a Classic Vibe Jazz soon and selling the Standard Series.

I didn't photo shop any stickers, but I did kinda mess with a few by posting this and saying I found another 62 J bass in Sea Foam Green for $100. Lol

I didn't have the heart to let them think I went out and found another 62 in the second most rare color of all though.
You could see the excitement as soon as it was posted but I caved in and fessed up.
It's my Shell Pink with the photos color manipulated a bit.

Another one, I was shocked it turned out so good. I kinda hurt myself because now I wish I actually had it. Lord it's gorgeous in either color.
I'm officially obsessed with the entire bass thing now and play as often as I possibly can, Actually not able to play now due to my fingers being so numb on my left hand. I guess it was time for a break.

In the first pic the chrome has a green tint and the second one is very obvious as the 'mother of pearl' inlays are blue too. But carry on, I'm all for winding up Talk bass with a bit of photo japery

Honestly I thought neither would fly and I'd be made the moment I posted but it lasted a few pages before I finally came clean. I was a little shocked it worked.
Oh well it's all in good fun. And nobody got hurt.
