Sorry i meant no disrespect but 1000 miles/hour slap does not groove IMO, he sure aint no Larry Graham/BootsyMarcus/Verdine, as i said, perhaps you had to be there to really get down n funky, or possibly im talking utter bo**ocks!

Fair enough... but that's just showboating.... he does a lot more than just that 2 minute bass solo stuff..... Have a listen to the 'Level 42' album... plenty of tunes there that will suffice groove!

Used to be that touring was there to support album sales. Now it's the only real source of income, hence the hikes. To think of all the amazing bands I saw for a tenner back in the day...wowsa...

I've always had concerns about Verdine White - from the early days when he moved like a thunderbird to that clip where he seems to think he's Got Back... and I bet $5 his hair dresser is a Klingon.
