I bought it just over a month ago because I needed something more reliable and more powerful than my GEM s.bass.50 that I was using (also for sale). My own thoughts are that it has a lovely rich bass tone and that the main reasons anyone would want to buy this is because it's very cool and because it is seriously DOOM.
