Yeah I'm pretty happy, I shelled out a bit extra for a fireglo, and really pleased I did. You can get anything in black, right? but there's only one fireglo.

Just what was around at the time I was looking that's all, there were a few jetglos for cheaper, but I wanted a fireglo, and I'm impatient.

I've had 4 4003's before, and my latest (5th!!), a 2011, is by far the best yet and free of the trouble spots that I've suffered before.

Congrats on an awesome bass...my first 4003 was a FG...excellent choice! :sun_bespectacled:

Yeah I've read that the new ones are really top notch - my funds didn't stretch quite that far. This is a 2005 make, so no push pull vintage tone thingy.

Needs new strings and a setup (I like high action), but after that we are powering.
