Mike
Hi all - finally, an up-to-date family picture! Back L-R: Bassix Jazz EUB, Ken Smith BT6, Cort GB-75 Front L-R: 1975 Fender Jazz, Shuker Custom Jazz 4, 1968 Fender Jazz (modded with EMG active pups & fretless lined ebony board - no, it wasn't me!), 1984 Ibanez Musician. This are the basses that I gig with, and get regular usage: 75 Jazz, Shuker, 69 Jazz, Ken Smith. I'm using the Cort to tide me over as Jon Shuker is building me a matching 5 string but in Red, with delano pickups, and macassar board & blocks (think a snazzy 66 Candy Apple Red Fender!) This is the pedalboard I use, should you be interested. Custom-made (by myself, a complete duffer at anything manly like DIY). This comprises: Sadowsky DI, Boss LMB3 Limiter, EBS Octabass octaver, Boss TU2 Tuner, Danelectro Autowah and a not-often used programmable Tech 21 Sansamp. I also use Markbass gear - a 1x12 combo, with a 2x10 extension. Regards Mike

Beedster
You need a '70's Precision to set that lot off Beautiful collection Mike, love that upright. The Jazzes of course are to die for also Chris

Josh
Georgous Ken Smith man!
Mike
Thanks for all the positive comments. I'm extremely happy with "the herd". Sometimes I wonder why I keep the Ibby Musician, then I play it and remember what a stonking bass it is in it's own right. For a while it was my main gigging bass, then the 75 jazz was, and now it's the Shuker.
Mike
More of the Smith - it's been well used! And the Jazz, when it had a J-retro in it:
