Guest markinthegreen
After reading the thread today regarding Blur where Mr Quinn was mentioned a few times, I just wanted to share some love for one of my favourite bass players who has always been a massive influence on me due to his brilliant use of melody songwriting and musicianship. umcoo
Good thread! I bought an Ibanez Blazer just so I could pretend to be like him His playing, especially on the first 2 (and maybe less so the 3rd) albums, is just great. Love it. 1970
Awesome bassist, interviewed him many moons ago and he was a top bloke to have a chat with as well. Never know he used a blazer, now I love them even more.
bigjohn
Former fattest goalscorer in topflight football AND bass player in Supergrass. I never knew that.

umcoo
Not that I know of silddx. He sold a headless Steinberger/Hohner (I forget what it was) on ebay that he used when he fell out of a window and hurt his back He was definitely using the Blazer on the last Supergrass gigs, and I seem to recall it being his first bass, so doubt he'd just stick it on ebay.
