[/quote] I guess you get what color you want! When I played the Marlowe model I really liked it but not the color The inlay says AM which are initials for my daughter Asta Marie. I also made my album titel after her "[url="http://audioscapers.bandcamp.com/album/after-am"]After AM[/url]" When I play gigs far from home she will always be on my bass Quote

Here's the plan: Cherry burst Basic 5 Maple neck with pain maple headstock Chrome hardware White pearl pickguard (and maybe a trans one too) A WHITE pickup! What do you reckon? Quote

I loved that bass, my first Sandberg. If I hadn't moved permanently to 5ers I would've never parted with it.... In fact, that's been another consideration for a new bass: exactly the same but a 5er! It began my love affair with sandberg (I've had 5 now), and led to me selling everything else! Glad you're enjoying it, and even though you say you're not doing it justice, having an instrument that you enjoy and feels great week inspire you to play more and improve yourself more than anything else!
