Bilbo
As a long standing jazz musician.... I can sit in a room on my own and not be frightened. I can make stuff up as I go along. I can ride on the top deck of the bus on my own.

martin8708
1) Patience 2) Planting the seeds of ideas to make it seem like other people thought of it themselves , VERY useful with guitarists who think all great ideas come from themselves . 3) Reading the audience / customer , if they want to boogie , give them what they want . Max Normal
Learning DEFINATELY NOT EVER to work with all the "puffed up w***ers" mentioned in earlier posts. Most of them can't hang on to a decent band anyway, no matter how "f***ing amazing" they ostensibly are. There are just as many truly nice superb musicans out there who are decent to work with, they are the bands that will work out and last long. Seek them out and stay with them, ignore the rest no matter how attractive they may seem. Do not be tempted to bask in anothers glory, be confident and proud in yourself.
