OliverBlackman Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Don't know if these have been posted yet but i saw Paul Turner today and he was playing a 5 string PJ made by this luthier. The build quality was excellent and it sounded as big and rich as a top original 60's fender! I honestly thought it was active and was amazed when he said it was passive. http://www.avbasses.com/ Quote
NJE Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Saw these a couple of weeks ago, I believe there is some info on them in the latest iBass magazine. Keith Duffy helped design/develop them as well I believe. They look good, will be interesting to see if any turn up on here soon. Quote
TRBboy Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 They look lovely, and very well built. I'll take a P/J in metallic green please! Quote
hofa Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I know the luthier Aleš Vychodil - he did some reapairs and service on my basses... Great guy... Also had a chance to play his basses - very well built, great tone, nice finishes... I would definitely recomend to try his axes Quote
