Foxx Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 Weight as requested is just under 8 lbs on bathroom scales.
Shroombass Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 What sort of tonal character does the villex circuit and pickups produce?

Foxx Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Thanks clarky. Difficult to explain the sound other than it has more clarity than a standard fender, a bit more bottom end but not excessively so, with the jazz pickup turned up as well it sounds similar to an active bass, very punchy, with a crisp top end, the clips in the link should give an idea.
Shroombass Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 I don't suppose you fancy a 1972 Gibson EB3 do you ?
Foxx Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 It's tempting , but I must stick to cash sale for now to recoup some of the outlay on the Wal I bought recently, thanks for the offer though.
The Dark Lord Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Good that this still has the jack socket on the scratchplate too.
Foxx Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 Yeh, I've never been keen on the idea of edge mounted jacks.
