First Bass Guitar

I've played a little bit of classical/acoustic guitar and am self taught in that area (so wouldn't know if im playing it right or wrong) but i've always wanted a bass guitar and im finally thinking of going through and buying my very first BASS. =D

Not too sure on what kind of music i want to play not to picky in any sense anyway.

Just wanted to see what the opinions on the link would be for first. Was also considering ;

I wouldn't want to advise you on what to buy as your first bass, but I will say that you would be much better off buying from BassChat than buying from eBay. In my humble opinion, of course. Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the advice, i just wanted to see what others had to say about the ebay item. Personally im leaning alot more onto the Aria Pro II Integra IB-STD (a very sexy looking bass to me).

I have one. Its a nice bass. But I paid about eighty quid for mine a couple of years ago.
