Mister Woolley
Well my names Dan, and I joined a few weeks ago on my search for a Bass PODxt Pro. I have since found one and I'm now working towards using it in a live set up with a power amp and what not. I play a Hohner B-bass 6, had it 3 years and I like it very much. I play through a Marshall B150 combo for gigs and borrow a Trace GP12 SMX 4x10 combo at my band's practice rooms. I'd been GAS'ing for a full Trace Elliot set up with the GP12 SMX or similar with the 4x10 and 1x15 cabs for the past 4 months, but after a difficult time with a rather unresponsive gumtree crowd *shakes fist* I decided to go the amp modeller route for any number of tones i'd want. I've played bass for about 8 years now, but only really taken it seriously for the last four. I'm mainly into progressive, technical death metal and enjoy playing much of the same, but I do like to learn all sorts to better my bass playing. So yeah, that's me then. Cheers! leftyhook
Welcome mate! bassists covering al styles here, so I am sure you will have some interesting exchanges of opinions with technical death metal players, and maybe the odd interjection from double bass players to lighten things up!
