giblett123
Gday everyone, anyone know anything about these: EDEN ECX110N combo, just curious as to what kind of sound (e.g. hifi or trad) and how loud they are, I'm looking for a smallish combo for pit stuff, also looking at the 150 ebs 112. All info/opinions gratefully received!

eude
Ibanez Promethean 5110 Combo. 1x10"Combo, with removable 500W amp head. Incredibly loud and full for it's size. Built in tilt back stand. Can do hifi and old school sounds, bit more old school than MarkBass gear. Very reasonably price too >> http://www.thomann.de/gb/ibanez_p5110_promethean.htm You could probably get the Eden new for about twice the price... giblett123
Sweet, will have a look, need something that won't sound like a "wasp in a jam jar" but is v portable, will use it for noodling at home as much as anything. I've flogged all my other stuff and at some point will get something a wee bit bigger, possibly a reidmar, not sure yet.

I downsized to one of them when I knew I was moving to London. I've used it live for a few gigs, pub ones without PA support and as a monitor for louder ones, it's proper loud and very VERY full for it's size. It also has an Aux in and Headphone out, so great for use at home too. There's some other folks on here who use one too, no real complaints bar a couple who've been unlucky with quality control, but if you buy through Thomann they have a very good warranty procedure from what I've heard. Your new 6 playing ok? [/quote] That wouldn't be necessary dude, as you could simply hook it up to any other unpowered speaker to unleash the full 500W at 4 Ohms. The new 6 is insanely good, but not really a surprise there Eude
