lateralus462
Hi All, I recently (like 2 weeks ago) bought a "brand new" ABM500 MKII 210 combo from my local large music store - Turns out that it was actually made in 2005 which means it was made in England, rather than China. I don't really know how I feel about this. On one hand I'm kinda pissed off that the amp that I bought as "new" has actually been sat around in the shop for over 3 years, but on the other I'm glad that it's English made. What do you guys reckon? Thanks Chris
Machines
Anything not 2nd hand is new - be it 1 week or 10 years old. As long as it's in good condition and at a good price I wouldn't be fussed either way .
DirkThrust
Depends how you define new I suppose. If it's the latest model, you're the first owner and it comes from an Ashdown deaker with an Ashdown warranty then it's new. That'd be good enough for me. I'd like to know where it's been for three years though

However... If it's been the shop demo I'd be pissed off. If it's been in its box in the shop I'd be delighted. You did good to get a UK made one, most importantly! Buzz
Yeah, I'd be happy to get a UK one at a decent price, even if it's been made 3 years ago, it'll probably (if a shop boxed one) have been turned on once or twice, and be unused.
